The Beard Experiment

After a couple of months of living like a caveman, it was time to lose a couple of kgs for the marathon.

Here we go: firstly, hairy Fraser in full glory....

The beard always provided something to chew on.

It was a tough choice, which should go first, the top or the bottom. I chose the top, but it was tough cutting. The poor old machine was nearly smoking. So I took a break to capture the axe wielding maniac look.

Finally most of it came off...

Then, it was time for even bigger choices. What look to go for? In the end, I decided the weakest point should go first, and that was clearly the thinning, sun bleached mo so off it came.

A little bit of experimenting with filthy goatees, I think this is my best look, I really should have tried to get through airport security like this.

Aaron Slight?

1920's sideburns. Awesome.

And then, back to weedy looking me, looking optimistically into the future. What a strange feeling without the beard, it feels very drafty.
